Republitarian Wears Nice Cap

DAYTON - Local blogger Morgan Rudes, also known as Republitarian, is attending a mid-morning wedding in his nicest duds: clean and pressed dark jeans, a bright flannel shirt, and his "fancy" ballcap.
The fancy ballcap, bearing the inscription of a ranch in Arizona, is flawlessly black and has a beautiful starched brim. "I make sure to wash it in one of those ballcap holders so it doesn't get bent up," Rudes says.
Rudes last wore the cap to a funeral, and only brings it out for special occasions.
"I want the bride and groom to know they're special to me," says Rudes. "This isn't a 'John Deere' kind of event."
